Back 4 Good has received a large volume of communications from our subscriber base looking to established if this years St Patrick’s Day parade is to take place .
Indeed, information is required on the festival itself and to what extent these events will happen in the contact of the current surge .
Many of our subscriber base have halted plans to return home for the St Patricks week festival since the onset of COVID in march 2020 and had hoped that this year would allow them an opportunity to come home to their own town, county or village to meet and greet their families and friends and celebrate the national holiday.

Our network across the globe are advising us that parades will be limited if any at all but there will be a acknowledgment of the 17th March and some low scale socially distanced events.
We have yet to establish if the usual “wickers world ” global travel by Government Ministers is to happen this year, we assumed as events and parades will be limited that these trips will not happen .
Unlike previous years the Government needs to make an early decision on the Dublin parade ( within the next 2 weeks ) as many organisations are involved in arranging travel pans that if cancelled will result in significant costs to these voluntary bodies.
On balance its looks likely that the 2022 event cannot take place in the current environment with over 20,000 cases a day ,we hope that these numbers will drop as fast as they have increased with much lower numbers in March 2022 .

However planning requires a decision to be made now and it appears that 2023 will be the year when our annual parade returns to the streets of the capital .
Of course our annual St Patrick’s Week Talent drive, now in its 10th year, will take place as normal with skills and labour shortages in Ireland at an all time high .
If you are looking for top talent let’s have a conversation and promote your roles to a global talent base second to none.
