Today we see more news reports about ” huge shortages of Teachers “<\/em> <\/strong>with 100s of unfilled vacancies across Ireland .<\/p>\n

The numbers of roles available make grim reading and unless the Department of Education starts using unique solutions such as Back 4 Good the situation will only get significantly worst .<\/p>\n

Nevertheless should the Minister for Education and her Department look at the unique proposal Back 4 Good<\/strong> have submitted \u00a0to her government colleagues she will find a solution that can go someway towards addressing the ongoing shortage of teachers across Ireland .<\/p>\n

Our county by county approach assist teachers to return home to their own town, village or county and to take up roles in the local school which makes \u00a0the choice to work and live in Ireland more affordable .<\/p>\n

In Dublin the Government must deliver a “City Allowance ” to go towards meeting the huge differences between working in large urban areas and must also look at the length of contracts currently on offer along with career progression for all teachers .<\/p>\n
