{"id":62,"date":"2016-10-27T14:40:14","date_gmt":"2016-10-27T14:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/project.blueberry.ie\/back4good\/cms\/?p=62"},"modified":"2016-10-27T14:40:14","modified_gmt":"2016-10-27T14:40:14","slug":"76000-construction-jobs-offer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/project.blueberry.ie\/back4good\/cms\/76000-construction-jobs-offer\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 76,000 Construction Jobs on Offer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Construction Industry Federation has announced that it will require an additional 76,000 workers over the next 4 years .<\/p>\n<p>The industry has expressed significant concerns about the availability of workers with the necessary skills to meet demand .<\/p>\n<p>There are currently 137,000 people directly employed in construction .<\/p>\n<p>The CIF report says that there were 4,400 apprentices across all trades in construction compared to 23,700 in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>The construction industry has seen significant numbers leave the industry or emigrate during the recession .<\/p>\n<p>The report goes on to say that the the image of the industry should be improved by &#8221; inspiring young people &#8221; through extensive communications on the industry&#8217;s ability to shape Irish Society and deliver world class projects.<\/p>\n<p>The report recommends an international recruitment drive such as Back 4 Good to target the Irish Diaspora to attract skilled workers back to Ireland.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Construction Industry Federation has announced that it will require an additional 76,000 workers over the next 4 years .
