Role: Training and Development Coordinator
Salary: DOE
Location: Waterford

Osborne Recruitment are currently searching for a Training and Development Coordinator to join our client’s administration department.
Our client is a leading provider in healthcare and is seeking an experienced and proactive Training and Development Coordinator to join their growing administrative team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training & development and administration and will be excellently skilled in all areas of administrative processes with a people focused outlook.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation & implementation of onboarding and induction for new hires.
  • Oversight of the probation and onboarding of new staff including performance management, feedback and reviews.
  • Maintain and update accurate training records
  • Ability to identify areas for further training and performance issues.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, training materials and guides for each role.
  • Provide support to the admin operations lead in the running of the department.
  • Assist in the review and continuous improvement of administrative practices.
  • Implement internal policies and procedures
  • Monitoring of KPIs for team members
  • Act on behalf of the Administrative Operations Lead as needed
  • Ensure compliance with admin processes internally, GDPR and best practice
  • Maintain a professional work environment
  • Perform any reasonable ad hoc duties

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to design and implement training programmes to include measurement and evaluation techniques
  • Experience in training, mentoring and supervising staff
  • Strong understanding and practical experience in administration processes, scheduling systems, and workflow coordination.
  • Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
  • Full, clean driving licence for occasional travel

Skills and Abilities:

  • To be able to create training programmes and styles to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
  • The ability to identifying and proactively address training gaps and staff performance issues.
  • A natural motivator and leader, who promotes continuous improvement
  • Excellent relationship building skills.

Nice to have:

  • Train the Trainer qualified is an advantage.
  • Experience with patient systems
