Accounts Assistant – Part-Time (20 Hours per Week)
Osborne are pleased to be partnering with our client, a well-established organisation based in Little Island, Cork, to recruit a Part-Time Accounts Assistant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance administrator seeking a flexible, part-time position within a supportive and structured office environment.
Hourly Rate: €16 per hour
Location: Wallingstown, Little Island, Cork
Position Type: Part-Time, Office-Based
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently through the financial system
Reconcile supplier statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
Manage the internal invoice approval process, liaising with relevant departments
Set up and maintain new supplier accounts, including requesting required documentation and securing approvals
Act as a point of contact for supplier queries, providing prompt and professional responses
Input and maintain data on the maintenance system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Liaise closely with the maintenance department to ensure records are current and up to date
Assist with internal and external audits as required
Provide general accounts administration support and assist with ad hoc finance-related duties
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Finance Administration or Accounts role
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively on own initiative
Personable, reliable, and professional, with excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads
Experience using Sage Accounts 50 is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
