Accounts Assistant – Part-Time (20 Hours per Week)

Osborne are pleased to be partnering with our client, a well-established organisation based in Little Island, Cork, to recruit a Part-Time Accounts Assistant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance administrator seeking a flexible, part-time position within a supportive and structured office environment.

  • Hourly Rate: €16 per hour
  • Location: Wallingstown, Little Island, Cork
  • Position Type: Part-Time, Office-Based

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently through the financial system
  • Reconcile supplier statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Manage the internal invoice approval process, liaising with relevant departments
  • Set up and maintain new supplier accounts, including requesting required documentation and securing approvals
  • Act as a point of contact for supplier queries, providing prompt and professional responses
  • Input and maintain data on the maintenance system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Liaise closely with the maintenance department to ensure records are current and up to date
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required
  • Provide general accounts administration support and assist with ad hoc finance-related duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Finance Administration or Accounts role
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively on own initiative
  • Personable, reliable, and professional, with excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Experience using Sage Accounts 50 is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
